Think of us as a group of millennials that love food and a safe haven where everyone can express themselves and let their best selves shine.

At Ziraf, we always start with the why. Why we do what we are called to do. We believe in giving people that first smile, as they take that first sip, that first bite of steak, the aroma that comes from that little restaurant tucked away in a quiet alley in bustling London. We connect with trustworthy local food lovers to provide food recommendations that you can trust through our app, aptly named Ziraf. We want to build a community that not only loves food, but also one that believes in making a difference!

A little bit of insider news, Warwick University has recently selected us as the ‘Best Tech Startup’, representing the university at the Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards. On top of that, we have been crowned with the Young Leaders Award from a UK University Wide Startup Competition, Reload Greece. Ziraf was selected out of 60 top international teams to be a part of a European Accelerator Program, Reload Greece Challenge in partnership with Launch1000 and we're part of Google Campus, Shoreditch as well as the Khazanah Innovation Centre @ The Shard. We're currently part of the Natwest Entrepreneur Accelerator Program.

Role: Satellite Ambassador

Aka Campus Ambassador

What do you get when you mix food and frequency into a mixing bowl ? A Satellite Gastronome! Ziraf will officially be landing into campuses real soon and we are looking for you to be on board this journey! We are planning to host a series of fun/ crazy / food / MORE food events in your local campus.

  • You often think of crazy, out of the box ideas
  • You are exactly who we are looking for!

Simply send us a 1 pager about food! You can even write about what does food mean to you or if you could be a dish, what would you be? It could also be if you can organise the craziest food related event, what would it be? If you’re completely fresh to the scene but is willing to learn something new, we’d love to have you on board too!

Role: Community Connector

  • You are interested in building and growing a community driven by values, keeping the community a fun and engaging place
  • You are at the forefront of internet culture, You don’t only create, you start the meme

Simply let us know your answer to this question: If you have to start a food related society in your university, how will you go about doing it? How will you increase the exposure of the society and making students WANT to join it desperately ;) Let us know your answer in the form of short sentences, essay, visuals or anything you envision- all in one page. If you are completely fresh to the scene but is willing to learn something new, we would love to have you on board too!

Role: Gourmet Artist

Simply send us a 1 pager insta post about food, be creative (can be visuals). It can be about a restaurant that you love, or a dish that you absolutely like. It can also be a made-up food event that you have always wanted to organise. If all else fails, you can also send us some of your previous works and tell us why you want to be part of the Ziraf family. If you are completely fresh to the scene but is willing to learn something new, we would love to have you on board too!

Role: Old School Gastronome

Aka Social Foodie

  • You stay on top of market trends, you always know the new eateries in London before anyone else
  • You are a people’s person, meeting new people and making friends give you energy
  • You are an organised and attention to detail individual
  • You love relationship building, growing communities into a fun and engaging place is what you are great at

Simply send us a 1 pager about yourself, be creative. It can be about a restaurant that you love, or a dish that you absolutely like or what do you do to keep updated with London food scene. It can also be a made-up food event that you have always wanted to organise. Tell us why you want to be part of the Ziraf family. If you are completely new to the food scene here, share your food scene experience in your home country. You be willing to learn something new, we would love to have you on board too!

Deadline: 7th February 2020

Tenure: This rocking experience will be till late May with a possibility of extension. We completely understand the craziness of uni life, therefore this is a part time role where you can contribute as much as you can. PHEW!

Perks: You'd be joining us on our food adventures too! Also, it'll be on us ;)
